 As a Lunchtime Supervisor you will:

  • Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall, playground, and other areas.
  • Encourage positive play and social interaction.
  • Promote good behaviour and follow school policies.
  • Build strong, trusting connections with pupils to promote emotional wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
  • Support the school’s culture and values by modelling respectful, kind and calm communication.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing the dining area as needed.
  • Liaise effectively with teaching and support staff regarding any lunchtime concerns or observations that need follow-up.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is caring, active and friendly, with a warm and approachable manner
  • Is enthusiastic and able to work proactively as part of a team.
  • Is an effective communicator with a good standard of literacy and computer skills
  • Is able to develop a positive relationship with pupils and staff
  • Has experience working with children in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
