Hatchell Wood is a large, and growing,
primary school in Bessacarr, Doncaster with just over 400 children on roll.
Staff strive to promote an inclusive, child centred approach to education,
where all children enjoy their learning which allows them to thrive and
therefore meet their full potential.
Are you a dynamic, motivating,
creative and enthusiastic teacher? The Headteacher and Governors of this
thriving and good school are looking to appoint a teacher to cover a long-term
staff absence in Year 5. Applications
from early career teachers are warmly welcomed and there is a strong ECT
support network as part of the school and also the Trust.
In February 2022, the school had a
successful Ofsted Section 5 Inspection and is looking to further improve on the
strengths and area for improvement from the report.
Some of the key phrases from the
report;
• This
school is rightly proud of the caring and nurturing environment it provides for
its pupils.
• Leaders
are ambitious in what they believe all pupils can achieve. Pupils blossom under
these expectations.
• The
curriculum is ambitious and planned logically from Reception to Year 6
• Staff

• The
commitment to the personal development of pupils is a considerable strength of
the school.
