Intake Primary Academy is looking to appoint a caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. This is a key role in ensuring our pupils have a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime experience.


Key responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and outdoor areas
  • Promote positive behaviour and ensure a calm, safe environment
  • Support pupils with their meals and encourage good manners
  • Engage children in positive play and social interaction
  • Respond appropriately to minor incidents and report concerns as required
  • Ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

What we’re looking for

  • A caring, patient and approachable individual
  • Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with pupils and staff
  • A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Good awareness of safeguarding and child welfare
  • Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
