We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Science, with ability to teach either Biology or Chemistry, to join our happy and successful team.

 You will be:

An excellent communicator

Tactful and discreet when dealing with confidential matters and sensitive situations

Flexible and approachable, with a friendly can-do attitude

A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


You will have: 

knowledge of the National Curriculum

knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies

A good understanding of how children learn

Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs

Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils

Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children

Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies

Good ICT skills, particularly using ICT to support learning
