We have a unique opportunity for a graduate considering a future career in education, educational psychology, or wider inclusion services to join our school as a Graduate Trainee Learning Support Assistant on a 1-year fixed-term contract.  This post offers a structured development pathway, including hands-on classroom experience, targeted training, and opportunities to build expertise in supporting diverse learner needs.  The role is ideal for graduates seeking meaningful school-based experience and a strong foundation for progression into teaching, educational psychology, or specialist inclusion roles.    The hours of work are 32.5 per week, for 38 weeks per year (term-time only).  Please view the job description for further details of the role. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in any subject
  • Have a keen interest in education, educational psychology or SEND.
  • Be patient, calm and demonstrate empathy
  • Demonstrate adaptability and resilience
  • Have good communication skills
