(term time plus two weeks)

Thursday 8am - 4pm Friday 8am - 3:30pm
Salary: Pathway 6, £30,006
- £33,175, (FTE £34,314 - £37,938) per annum

Your
role:
As a
Student Support Officer at Queen Katharine Academy, you will be at the heart of
our students' academic and personal journeys. Imagine being the go-to person
for students, helping them navigate their school life, and ensuring they have
the support they need to succeed. You'll work closely with the Progress Leader
and Tutor team, tackling day-to-day student issues, monitoring progress, and
implementing strategies to boost attendance and punctuality. Your role will
also involve engaging with families, supporting safeguarding efforts, and
collaborating with external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
You'll
need excellent communication skills, a knack for teamwork, and experience in an
educational setting. Proficiency in MS Office applications and a solid
understanding of inclusion and attendance strategies are key. If you can be
firm yet fair with students and are flexible enough to meet the academy's
needs, this role is perfect for you.
