Norwich Road Academy are looking for two teaching assistants to work in Key Stage 2, with pupils aged between 7 and 11 years. The successful candidates will be joining a vibrant and ambitious organisation, led by experienced and supportive professionals.  Substantial recent investment into training, buildings and resources has contributed to our vision of providing high-quality learning experiences for children.

At our Academy we have a Nursery provision and classes from Reception to Year 6. We have extensive grounds and a range of facilities, from a large sports field and outdoor learning area, two all-weather playgrounds and a large self-contained library. At our Academy, we believe that it is important to extend learning outside the classroom as much as possible.

Norwich Road Academy joined the Eastern Multi-Academy Trust in August 2017. The Trust's values and vision are based on the four keywords; Empower, Motivate, Aspire, and Transform. We want to make a real and lasting difference to the communities within which we work – “transforming lives, transforming communities”.

Our aim at Norwich Road Academy is to prepare each of our pupils with the skills, attitudes and abilities for later life and we hope that their time with us will not only enable them to achieve their academic potential but also provide them with a wealth of happy memories and friendships to take with them on their journey.  They are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team of staff will support them on their way; ‘Building our Love of Learning Together’.

Ofsted (October 2024) say; ‘Pupils enjoy coming to school. This is because the school is a caring community. Pupils enjoy the friendly atmosphere in class and during social times. Staff build warm relationships with pupils. Pupils feel valued and safe. They know that if they have a worry, the adults will help them.’

Please look at our website https://www.norwichroadacademy.co.uk/, along with our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages to find out more about what we do.

We can offer a positive, professional and encouraging environment.  Training is offered and all of our staff continue to have the benefit of ongoing CPD in order to support our skilled team here.
