About the Role

Are you a practical, proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, welcoming environments? Whether you're an experienced Site Supervisor, Caretaker or Facilities professional, or looking to develop your career within education, we'd love to hear from you.

Featherby Partnership Schools are seeking a committed Site Supervisor to help ensure our Infant and Junior school sites remain safe, secure, compliant and welcoming for pupils, staff, visitors and the wider community.

Working closely with our Premises Manager and the Regional Estates Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of both school sites, helping to create environments where children can learn, grow and flourish.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out minor repairs, planned maintenance and general site upkeep

  • Help maintain buildings, grounds and equipment to a high standard

  • Undertake routine inspections and report maintenance issues

  • Support contractor management and planned maintenance programmes

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and statutory requirements

  • Assist with preparing facilities for school events, performances and lettings

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a welcoming environment for the whole school community

Every day is different, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and making a visible difference.

  • Can work independently using their own initiative

  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys working with staff, contractors and visitors

  • Is IT literate and confident maintaining compliance records and documentation

  • Takes pride in creating safe, welcoming environments for children and the wider school community

Above all, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a school community and understands the important role a well-maintained environment plays in children's education.
