Annual Salary:  LGAT 10 - £29,191.00  pro rata - LGAT 14 £32,473.00  pro rata - Dependent on experience 

Actual Salary:  LGAT 10  £24,958.31 - LGAT 14 £27,764.42 Dependent on experience 

37 hours per week

Term time only + 5 inset days (195 days)

Attendance officer will work in collaboration with all members of the Pastoral team to and Administration to drive up levels of attendance to ensure each individual child is safe, happy, involved, attending and able to perform to their potential.

To take a lead role in promoting, monitoring, and improving student attendance across the school. The postholder will work proactively with students, parents/carers, staff, and external agencies to remove barriers to attendance, secure positive engagement with education and improve outcomes for all students. Through detailed analysis of attendance data, the Attendance Officer will identify trends, patterns, and disparities across key student groups, coordinate targeted interventions, support safeguarding processes, and contribute strategically to the school’s attendance, inclusion, and improvement priorities.
