We are seeking to recruit a versatile Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in supporting students and staff at our Academy. We are looking for someone who believes in inclusion for all students and is able to implement strategies to support children with SEND. Responsibilities will include working 1:1 to support children with additional needs and supporting the class teacher with groups of children or individuals in the classroom. The role will involve working with children to support any social, emotional or behavioural needs.

The smooth running of the internal isolation rooms is key and this role has direct responsibility for the behaviour and wellbeing of pupils that have not met our behaviour expectations.

The successful applicant will be experienced in working with young people with the ability to lead by example. Candidates must be enthusiastic, positive and committed to building strong professional relationships with children and adults. You will need to be motivated, have a flexible and calm approach and be able to respond to the needs of the school.
