Salary:
Grade 9, Point 19 - 25: £28,199 - £31,983 per annum (salary calculated on 37 hours)*
Contract:
Permanent, part time or full time considered, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
*The salary quoted reflects the annual salary for
the position at the time of advertising. Payment will be made in equal monthly
instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment, and again if
employment ends partway through the school year, to ensure the correct salary
is paid for work completed during the academic year.
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level
Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team at St Andrew’s CE Primary
School, Fontmell Magna. This is a classroom‑based role working closely with
teachers, support staff and pupils to support high‑quality teaching and
learning.
You will deliver agreed learning activities, support pupils
of all abilities, and contribute positively to an inclusive school environment.
The role includes planning and delivering learning activities and providing
classroom cover during PPA time under an agreed system of supervision.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who are HLTA
qualified or currently working towards the qualification. We would be
particularly interested in applicants with strengths or experience in Art,
Music or Physical Education, though all suitably qualified and enthusiastic
candidates are encouraged to apply.
