About the roles

Tockwith Church of England Primary Academy are looking to welcome a Class Teacher into their supportive and friendly team, this is to teach a lower KS2 class. This position is full time, which is due to start on Monday 7th September 2026 and is for Maternity Leave Cover. 

We are looking for an aspirational Class Teacher who strives for the best outcome for every child within their class, who makes learning fun and engaging and who places a large emphasis on the wellbeing of our children.

As a Class Teacher at a primary school you will be passionate about improving both pupils attainment and standards of teaching and learning and have a strong vision and shared ethos that supports our values and culture here at Tockwith Church of England Primary Academy.


Job requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

The successful applicant will have:

A track record of raising both pupil attainment and standards of teaching and learning.
