About this Role

We seek to appoint a Behavioural Support Officer for 37 hours per week on a  permanent basis to join the  team at Barlby High School. This post is term time working plus two weeks. 

Barlby High School  is a friendly, warm and caring community school with staff that are fully committed to supporting students and each other in bringing the school's vision to life. The school is on a transformational journey and we are looking for a colleague to join us on that journey.  This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, inspirational individual, and who is passionate about outstanding education and developing the whole child. 

The core focus of this job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for implementing the schools Attendance and Behaviour Policy and improving the attendance and behaviour of identified students who attendance and/or behaviour is a barrier to their performance. Responsible for recording, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on attendance and behaviour data. 


Job Details

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time + 2 weeks 

Position Type:  Permanent Post

Line Manager: Assistant Vice Principal 

Travel Required: Occasional
