About this Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Breakfast Club Lead to manage the new free morning provision. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring children start their school day feeling safe, happy and ready to learn.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of the breakfast club, providing a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead and supervise the daily operation of the Breakfast Club

·         Provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children

·         Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities

·         Prepare and serve healthy breakfast options, adhering to food hygiene standards

·         Promote positive behaviour and support children's social development

·         Ensure safeguarding, health and safety policies are followed at all times

·         Maintain accurate registers and communication with school staff and parents

·         Manage resources and ensure the space is clean, organised and welcoming

The Ideal Candidate Will:

·         Have experience working with primary-aged children

·         Be confident leading a small team or working independently

·         Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills

·         Be energetic, caring and committed to supporting children's wellbeing

·         Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

·         Hold (or be willing to obtain) a relevant childcare qualification

·         Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Food Hygiene and First Aid certificate
