Bligh Primary School is seeking a skilled and caring Teaching Assistant who can also provide Higher Level Teaching Assistant support for two hours each week. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
In this role, you will:
Support pupils' learning across a range of year groups and abilities
Deliver targeted interventions and provide high-quality classroom support
Work closely with teachers and colleagues to support pupil progress
Lead learning during allocated HLTA time with confidence and creativity
Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement
Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
We are looking for someone who:
Holds an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant area
Has experience working with primary-aged children
Is confident supporting learning across the curriculum
Can lead groups of pupils and deliver learning activities effectively
Is calm, flexible and proactive in their approach
Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
