Bligh Primary School is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing, helping every child to thrive both academically and personally.
Working closely with teachers and colleagues, you will support pupils across the curriculum and contribute to creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will:
- Support pupils' learning across a range of year groups and abilities
- Deliver targeted interventions and provide high-quality classroom support
- Work closely with teachers and colleagues to help pupils achieve their potential
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement
- Support the development of pupils' confidence, independence and social skills
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant area
- Has experience working with primary-aged children
- Is confident supporting learning across the curriculum
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Is calm, flexible and proactive in their approach
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Shares our commitment to inclusion, high expectations and pupil success
