About this Role

At Warren Dell  Primary School, we believe childhood should be rich in curiosity, care and meaningful experiences. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work alongside our classroom teachers, subject leaders and SEND team, supporting targeted interventions that help every child thrive.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusion, wellbeing and improving outcomes for children who may face barriers to learning.

We are looking for an HLTA who is:

  • Experienced and confident in delivering targeted intervention programmes for individuals and small groups.
  • Committed to inclusive practice, supporting all children, including those with SEND, additional needs or learning gaps.
  • Enthusiastic and professional, confident in leading learning activities within the school environment.
  • Skilled in building positive, trusting relationships that support pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement.
  • Calm, patient and resilient, with a strong understanding of positive behaviour for learning.
  • Collaborative and reflective, working closely with classroom teachers and the SEND Leader to support progress.
  • Passionate about making a meaningful difference to children’s learning and wellbeing.

In return, we can offer:

  • A welcoming, supportive school community where children are known, valued and encouraged to succeed.
  • A strong commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills through training and professional development.
  • Enthusiastic, curious children who are proud of their school.
  • A family‑centred ethos where respect, care and belonging are central to school life.

If you are passionate about primary education and want to make a genuine difference within a school that values curiosity, care and high aspirations for all, we would be delighted to hear from you.
