Solihull Sixth Form College is a large,
culturally diverse specialist in A Levels and Level 3 vocational
qualifications, and part of the Summit Learning Trust.
We are seeking
applications from enthusiastic, qualified and aspirational History teachers who
share our passion in teaching History to a diverse cohort of post-16 students.
The successful
candidate will be a talented teacher, highly motivated, capable and innovative.
You will have a passion for History, with subject expertise, and be fully
committed to supporting the progress of all learners on our courses. You should
also have experience of making a positive impact on teaching, learning and
assessment and will join an experienced and welcoming team.
You will have a
relevant degree or equivalent, as well as a teaching qualification. Experience
with A level History is strongly desirable.

Humanities team that is supportive and experienced, that fosters collaborative
learning and has high expectations of our learners. All staff aim to delivery high quality
outcomes for learners in a well-resourced and well-equipped environment.
The post is being
advertised as part-time, however we are
happy to explore
full time hours for
the right candidate.
