Solihull Sixth Form College is a large, culturally diverse specialist in A Levels and Level 3 BTEC qualifications, and part of the Summit Learning Trust.

We are seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic Audio and Visual Technician to support the Media/IT and Creative Arts Curriculum Areas. You will play a vital role in supporting the provision of high quality A level and BTEC level 3 teaching in the College. You will be required to maintain, monitor and manage securely and safely equipment and resources held in the Curriculum Areas and, most importantly, provide technical and practical support to both colleagues and learners in the use of such resources.

 

The post requires an education to A level or equivalent in a relevant subject(s) together with level 2 in Maths, English and ICT or skills equivalent to this level. You should have experience of technical support work, ideally in a school or college environment.  As well have the ability to prioritise your own workload, work flexibly and be enthusiastic about working with young people.
