Road Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an
experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join the School in May 2026 for a Fixed
Term until July 2027.

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C Point 5 - 7. £25,583 - £26,403
Actual Annual Salary: £15,382 - £15,875 (Pro Rata)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until July 2027, part time, term
time only (39 weeks per year)
Contract Hours: 25 per week, Monday to Friday
About the
role
The successful candidate will be supporting
the learning of identified children with special educational needs that require
additional adult support. This support will be directed and assessed by the
school’s SENDCo, with the candidate having regular review meetings to track
pupils’ progress in learning.

candidate will have a working knowledge or experience of children with special
educational needs and know strategies and approaches that are effective. The
candidate will be able to use their own initiative and be able to motivate and
engage pupils they are supporting. The candidate will promote independence and
self-esteem in all pupils and demonstrate a shared investment in positive
learning outcomes.
