FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C Pt 5-7, £25,583 - £26,403

Actual Salary Range: £18,982 - £19,590 (Pro Rata)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Term Time Only.

Contract Hours: 30.85 per week, Monday to Friday (08:40 – 3:20)

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, self-motivated and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our collaborative and welcoming academy.

The purpose of this role is to work under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and in the management of the classroom.

The work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

About the successful candidate

You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike.  Working in partnership with the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, assisting pupils to learn and reach their full potential.  If you have high expectations and understanding of behaviour of all pupils and can create and maintain a purposeful and positive learning environment, we would welcome your application to be part of our successful and hardworking team.
