The Role
This Teaching Assistant post involves providing both in-class support to teachers and, at times, one-to-one support for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).
Responsibilities include:
- Provide in-class support to teachers within the Early Years and KS1 setting
- Support children’s learning through play-based and structured activities
- Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), including providing one-to-one support when needed
- Lead and support targeted interventions to promote development across the Early Years and KS1 curriculum
- Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Full training will be provided where needed, particularly in relation to SEND support and intervention
