Behaviour Support Worker 

Bishop Young CofE Academy 

Nature of Contract 

Permanent, term time only, 38 weeks per year plus 5 days (39 weeks)

FTE Salary 

GRADE B3, SCP 7 - 11, £26,403 to £28,142 per annum, pro rata 

Actual Salary 

£22,709 - £24,205, based on 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Working Hours 

Full time, 37 per week 

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team who can: 

  • Support students with behaviour in lessons and around the school. 
  • Support with the lesson removal system (Session Manager/On call) and supervise withdrawn students. 
  • Undertake the supervision of detentions. 
  • Establish positive working relationships with vulnerable students and their families in order to support their needs in school. 

You will be: 

  • A highly motivated and hard-working individual
  • A team-player who can develop positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
