The Sunflower Club at The Coombes CE Primary School in Arborfield, Reading is looking for a happy, enthusiastic and dedicated Club Supervisor who is committed to developing and enhancing our popular before and after-school club. Supported by our Club Manager, this is a wonderful opportunity to manage our supportive team of playworkers and plan activities and experiences that will be truly memorable for children who attend the Club.

🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:

·         Responsibility for the day to day running of the before and after school club sessions

·         Purchase healthy snacks and deliver alongside the inhouse club cook

·         Produce daily registers and manage safe and secure ‘sign in/sign out’ process each day, always communicating effectively with school staff and parents to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the club

·         Planning and leading a wide range of fun, safe, and engaging activities, from multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play, for children aged 4–11

·         To manage and lead by example, setting high standards for a small, supportive team of playworkers, ensuring there is adequate supervision and positive outcomes always for all children attending the club

·         Creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels happy and supported

💡 What we’re Looking For:

·         Someone who is easily approachable, inspirational and with a genuine love of working with children

·         Great organisational, communication skills and interpersonal skills

·         A responsible leader to follow protocols and policies, implementing these with team members

·         Experience in a childcare, playworker or school setting (desirable but not essential)

·         A proactive, can-do attitude and a sense of fun!
