Support Assistant – Level 2 (1:1) Maternity Cover – Summer Term

School are looking to appoint an excellent Level 2 (Grade 4) Achievement
Support Assistant to join our dedicated and motivated team to work with SEND
pupils. We want support staff who have the drive and passion to ensure that our
children achieve the very best outcomes. This is an exciting time for the
school as we continue to build and grow our curriculum and environment in order
to provide the best possible learning experience for all of our pupils.
We are part of
Venn Multi Academy Trust. Venn is a group of inspirational and aspirational
mainstream and specialist schools in South, East and North Yorkshire whose main
objective is to ensure that all pupils make exceptional progress through the
development of outstanding staff.
30.75 hours per
week Term Time only 190 day.
Term time
actual annual salary - £18,390
This is a fixed
term position to cover maternity leave, initially for the Summer Term only, and
further subject to funding and pupil allocation.
Our ideal
candidate will have:-

Previous
experience of working with SEND pupils.
·
Level
2 English and Maths or above.
·
A
high level of communication skills.
·
Be
competent in the use of I.T. equipment.
