HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
Casual term time only contract

Start date: September 2026

Grade 5 SP12-17 depending on level of experience from £16.90 - £18.33 per hour


Earley St Peter’s Church of England Primary School is seeking HLTAs to work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to act as cover as required.

 

Duties include:

·        Managing whole class teaching and transitions

·        Feedback and Marking

·        Ensuring all pupils, including SEND and PP, are able to access learning. 

·        Promoting positive behaviour

·        Feedback to class teachers


General requirements:

·        An awareness of commitment to equality

·        Understanding of health and safety

·        Understanding and implementing child protection procedures

·        Good literacy and numeracy skills
