Wolfreton is seeking to appoint a part time (0.6FTE) Teacher of Science to join our Science Team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract from September 2026. About the Role
This is an
exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and positive teacher to join our
team. We welcome applications from those
beginning their teaching journey as ECTs and from more experienced candidates
on MPS or UPS. The successful candidate will have the ability to set high
expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students. They will have
good subject and curriculum knowledge and be able to adapt and respond to the
strengths and needs of all students. An
ability to teach Physics at GCSE and A Level is advantageous but not essential
for this post.

About You
The successful candidate will possess excellent
inter-personal skills and will be required to communicate effectively with
members of the teaching and support staff, parents and students. The successful
candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in Biology, Physics, Chemistry or Science
and will be a highly effective teacher and classroom manager with a good
understanding of a range of teaching and learning strategies. They will have
effective experience as a teacher or trainee teacher of KS3 and KS4 and have
experience in the role of a form tutor.
