Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £13.47 (Grade C)
Hours Per Week: 17.5 (3.50 hours each day Monday to Friday)
Status: Fixed Term (until approx. 31/08/2028)

Witheridge C of E Academy is seeking an internal candidate for the role of 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our academy from September.
The successful candidate will work closely with the relevant class teacher to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential. Appropriate in-service training and ongoing support will be provided.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a child's educational journey by providing tailored support that enables them to thrive both academically and personally.
This is a temporary position and is subject to the child's continued attendance at the school and/or the outcome of any review of their special educational needs.
