Childcare Assistant for Nursery and Pre-school team

Fixed term contract to 31st August 2025

Grade 4 SCP 4-5 (£24,404 -£24,789 pro-rata)

£11,346 - £11,525 actual

20 hours per week term time only with the requirement to do 20 hours of inset training days.

Due to rising numbers we are seeking to appoint a Childcare Assistant to join our successful and hardworking nursery and Pre-school team, to include cover over the lunchtime period. Working on a Fixed term contract to end on 31st August 2025 for 20 hours per week. Duties would be Term time only with a start date as soon as possible.

Working hours

Monday  - Friday 11.30am – 3.30pm  Total 20 Hours       

 Flexibility to cover some extra  hours in the nursery on a casual basis for busy times or staff absences would be an advantage  This would be on an ad hoc basis and at mutually agreed times.
