King’s Group Academies is seeking an exceptional classroom teacher to join our Trust at an exciting time of growth and development. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting students to achieve their full potential, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
At King’s Academy Ringmer, we teach both Spanish and French. The successful candidate will be able to teach one of these languages to GCSE level and the other to at least Key Stage 3, supporting students to develop confidence, fluency and a genuine interest in language learning.
Working closely with school leaders and colleagues, you will plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported and challenged, with high expectations and strong relationships underpinning success.
You will contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities such as trips or cultural experiences, and work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve practice and outcomes in MFL.
You will be committed to promoting student wellbeing, inclusion and a love of learning, while upholding the Trust’s values of Honesty, Faith and Courage in your daily work. Through effective assessment and feedback, you will monitor progress and adapt your teaching to ensure all students can succeed.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive Trust, while continuing to develop your own practice and career.
You are a passionate and reflective teacher with strong subject knowledge in Spanish and/or French, and the ability to teach one language to GCSE and the other to at least Key Stage 3.
You have experience of planning and delivering lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities, and you use assessment effectively to inform your teaching and improve outcomes.
You are committed to inclusive practice and creating a classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported and able to succeed.
You are a strong team player who builds positive relationships with students, colleagues and families, and contributes positively to the wider school community.
You are resilient, adaptable and committed to your own professional development. Above all, you are motivated by a belief in the power of education to transform lives and are dedicated to improving outcomes and opportunities for all students.
