  • Assist in the implementation of Personal Provision Plans and monitor pupil progress
  • Prepare classroom resources, materials and displays to support teaching and learning
  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to meet pupils’ individual needs
  • Participate in playground duties and enrichment or extracurricular activities

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working with or caring for children, ideally in an educational setting
  • A good understanding of child development and effective learning strategies
  • A patient, adaptable and inclusive approach to supporting all pupils
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed and thrive

What we offer:

  • A supportive, welcoming and inclusive school environment
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression within Astrea Academy Trust
  • Access to a wide range of high-quality CPD and wellbeing initiatives
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a school that truly values its pupils and staff
