About this Role

We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and experienced Pre-School Room Leader to support the smooth day-to-day running of our Early Years setting.

This is an exciting internal opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years education and who can help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive. The successful candidate will work closely with the Early Years Leader and wider school team to support high-quality provision, positive relationships and strong routines across the setting.

The role will include supporting children’s learning and development, contributing to the organisation of the provision, and helping to ensure that the setting runs safely and effectively each day.


The successful candidate will:

Support the delivery of high-quality Early Years provision.

Work closely with the Early Years Leader to support the needs of children across the setting.

Help to create a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment.

Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.

Promote high expectations for behaviour, independence and engagement.

Co-create timetables with the Early Years Leader and then oversee their implementation within the setting.

Support the smooth and safe running of the provision throughout the school day.

Builds the preschools forward facing reputation through community events and social media.

Work as part of a wider team to ensure children receive the best possible start to their education.


We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years or a relevant childcare qualification.
Has experience of working within an Early Years setting.
Understands how young children learn and develop.
Is caring, calm, organised and proactive.
Can work well as part of a team.
Communicates positively with children, staff and families.
Is confident supporting routines, transitions and the day-to-day running of provision.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
