1:1 Teaching Assistant – Pre-School (15 hours per week, term-time only)
Supporting a child with specific medical needs – Training provided

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly pre-school team. This role involves providing tailored support for a young child with very specific medical needs, ensuring they can fully access and enjoy their early learning environment. This role is offered on a fixed term basis, tied to the funding received for the child.

About the Role:

  • 15 hours per week (term-time only)
  • Working closely with a child on a 1:1 basis
  • Providing care, encouragement, and medical support throughout the day
  • Following healthcare plans and ensuring the child’s safety and wellbeing
  • Supporting learning through play, routine, and positive interactions
  • Being a valued member of a supportive and dedicated team

What We Offer:

  • Full induction, specialist training, and ongoing support
  • A warm, nurturing setting where staff wellbeing matters
  • Opportunities to develop skills and experience in early years and SEND support

About You:

  • Kind, patient, and child-centered
  • Able to follow guidance with confidence
  • A good communicator who works well as part of a team
  • Previous experience in early years or SEN is helpful, but not essential—the right attitude is what matters most
