About this Role

Holy Trinity CE Primary Academy & Nursery is seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our committed and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, helping pupils to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.

As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and leaders to deliver learning activities, provide targeted support, and lead whole-class learning when required. You will contribute to planning, assessment and the wider life of the academy, ensuring that pupils are engaged, challenged and well supported.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom practice, confidence in leading learning, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. You will be adaptable, proactive and committed to promoting high standards of behaviour, achievement and wellbeing.

You will support pupils with a range of needs, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring all children can access the curriculum. You may also contribute to intervention programmes, small group work and assessment activities, working under the direction of teaching staff.

We are looking for someone who holds HLTA status or equivalent experience and who has a secure understanding of child development, effective learning strategies and inclusive practice. Strong communication skills, good organisational ability and a collaborative approach are essential.

In return, we offer a welcoming and supportive working environment, opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.

Holy Trinity  is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and pre-employment checks in line with statutory guidance.

The Trust is committed to being a Flexible Employer and welcomes open discussion around flexible working options.
