New Bradwell School is a large, friendly community school, with children aged from 2 to 11 years old, and provides numerous opportunities for both children and staff. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in our small class for our younger years children who require additional support. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Teaching Assistant  who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.

We are part of the Grand Union Partnership, which is a Multi-Academy Trust, currently including four primary schools operating in Milton Keynes and South Northamptonshire. Trustees have a clear vision which promotes excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and deliver a high-quality curriculum that supports children's learning and development.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, promoting early help and ensuring a smooth transition to school.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using a variety of assessment methods.
  • Work as part of a supportive team, sharing best practices and contributing to a positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils' learning, both individually and in groups
  • Identifying and addressing the individual needs of pupils.
  • Providing additional support to pupils who are struggling.
  • Encouraging pupils to develop their independence and self-confidence.
  • Preparing resources and materials for lessons.
