Are you passionate about working with children and creating fun, engaging experiences where they can relax, play and grow?
Barnsole Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable After School Club Assistant to join our Extended Day team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at the end of their school day, helping to create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment where they can develop confidence, friendships and independence.
This role would suit someone with experience or an interest in childcare, education, youth work, sports coaching, play work, performing arts or community activities. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and is excited about creating positive experiences beyond the classroom.
Working as part of our Extended Day team, you will help deliver a varied programme of activities, support children's wellbeing and ensure they feel happy, safe and included.
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and helping them thrive
Is warm, positive and enthusiastic in their approach
Can create fun and engaging activities that encourage children to take part
Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Is reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
Has a good understanding of safeguarding and children's wellbeing
Is flexible and willing to support wherever needed
Experience working with children is desirable, but we welcome applications from people with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
