About this Role
We are currently seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our dedicated and forward‑thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader who is passionate about securing excellent outcomes for all children and contributing to whole‑school improvement.
In this role, you will:
• Lead whole‑school maths, driving high‑quality teaching and strong pupil progress
• Focus on teaching, learning and outcomes in Years 1 to 4, ensuring pupils meet or exceed age‑related expectations
• Teach a class for 60% of the week, with protected, ring‑fenced leadership time
• Promote the school’s values, achievements and vision within the wider community
• Support the recruitment and induction of new staff, and provide mentoring and monitoring for ECTs and students
• Contribute to the preparation, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the School Development Plan
This is a key leadership position, supporting the school to continue improving and ensuring all pupils receive the highest quality education. You will also help to create a culture where staff have access to excellent professional development opportunities, enabling them to thrive and deliver their very best.
