About this Role

This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for a starting role within a school setting, working term-time only, within school hours. This post is a fixed term contract, for one year until Easter term 2027.

You will work within a supportive team, assisting children at lunchtimes both inside the dinner hall and outside on the playground. You will support with encouraging positive play and follow the school's behaviour policy. You will help to keep children safe and make sure that any injuries or illness is reported. You may have an existing first aid qualification but, if not, we will provide you with appropriate training.

We are looking for someone who is patient and caring, and someone who can work under their own initiative. You should enjoy working with children and have a good understanding of safeguarding, including the statutory guidance.

If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact nfeirn@smp.dsat.education for more information.
