About this Role

Are you interested in working in a community focused village school, committed to your personal and professional development? Are you a dynamic and inspirational teacher with the highest of expectations for all learners? Do you want to join us on our exciting journey?

If your answer to these questions is YES, then we would be delighted to hear from you.  Visits to the school to meet our Head of School, Gareth Ventin, and see the school in action are warmly encouraged and highly recommended.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  •          Understands the importance of utilising outdoor learning within the curriculum.
  •          Creates magic in their classroom and has a passion for teaching and learning.
  •          Prioritises building positive relationships with all pupils and parents/carers.
  •          Has high expectations of all pupils, no matter their starting point.
  •          Is  flexible and ambitious for their career.
  •          Motivates and supports children by example and with good humour.
  •         Is committed to team work and maintaining high standards.
  •         Has energy, enthusiasm and a growth mindset.

In joining West Wycombe School as part of the Great Learners Trust you will benefit from being a part of a dynamic Multi-Academy Trust. We pride ourselves on offering high quality CPD opportunities and investing in our staff.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  An Enhanced DBS check will be sought from the successful candidate.

Please note that applications will be considered, and interview dates offered on arrival. Please submit your applications early to avoid disappointment.

Our GLT motto is ‘Believe and Achieve’, which reflects the determination of the Trust to expect great things for all our children, whatever their prior attainment.
