An exciting opportunity has arisen for SEND and Admission Administrator to join Hallmoor School.

As a SEND and Admissions Administrator you will be responsible for the coordination of the EHCP review process. This will be for our existing learners and those due to join the school at the start of the next academic year. You will be required to coordinate the school’s admission procedure, including updating the central spreadsheet, recording and returning responses and monitoring tribunals. Alongside coordinating the transition process and ensuring all documentation is received and pupil files are up to date.

You will also be required to contribute to the co-ordination of exams, data and assessment related to the young person short term and long-term targets.

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated SEND and Admissions Administrator on a full-time basis (36.5 hours) to work with our students and staff at Hallmoor School.

Hallmoor School is an all-through (4 to 19) special school situated in the eastern area of Birmingham with the Hodge hill constituency.

Pupils attend the school from across Birmingham and some other neighbouring local authorities, principally Solihull. All the children who attend Hallmoor School have an Education and Health Care Plan and our school supports children with cognition and learning needs. Child may have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties or a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition. Some children have additional needs including visual impairment, hearing impairment and associated behaviour difficulties.

The successful candidate must have:

· Relevant qualifications

· Experience working in a busy office environment

· Proficient IT skills

· Good communication skills

· Ability to relate to children and young people with learning and other disabilities
