About this Role

Crowle CE Primary School is part of the Diocese of Worcester Multi Academy Trust. We provide a safe, inclusive environment to enable everyone in our school community to aspire to achieve of their best.

The Governing Body of Crowle CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a 1:1 teaching assistant to support an individual pupil with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will be expected to provide specific support for an individual pupil, working alongside the classroom teacher to deliver programmes of learning. Experience of working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant is required. Applicants should state any further areas of expertise they may be able to bring to the role. This role will be required from 1st September 2026.

This post is linked to the needs of a named child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role is funded through the child’s individual EHCP allocation. If the child leaves the school or if their level of funded support changes, the funding for this post may no longer be available. In such circumstances, the school may need to review the continued viability of the role, which could result in the post being amended or ended following appropriate consultation and HR procedures.

Although the post is primarily to support the named child, you may also be asked to work with and support other pupils across the school as directed by the Headteacher, in line with the needs of the school and the wider staff team.

The duties and responsibilities allocated to the post will be based on the skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications of the individual appointed, this post is being offered as a TA 2 pay scale post.
