Unity Education Trust seeks to appoint a calm and reliable adult
with strong communication skills who would like the opportunity to support
children as a Personal Care Assistant at Grove House Infant and Nursery School.
The successful candidates will have the ability to form positive
relationships with children and young people and be committed to ensuring they
have the very best support to learn. We are looking for someone who is
confident, energetic, and open minded. Experience of working in a special
school is not essential. Candidates must be able to empathise with young people
who have a range of complex needs and all age groups.
This role requires a firm but fair approach to communicate effectively
and appropriately with the young people. Although supporting these pupils can
be challenging, the rewards are immense as we see them develop and succeed in
their education supported in a safe setting focused on positive relationships.
