About this Role

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of young learners? Pinvin C of E Academy is seeking  a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing team.

The successful candidates will need to be flexible, as the role may involve working across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, as well as providing 1:1 support for individual children. The post will also include some lunchtime duties, with the additional possibility of extended afternoon hours as part of our wraparound care provision.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored support: Work closely with children who have special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers: Assist class teachers in planning and delivering personalised learning activities.
  • Promote inclusion: Ensure that all children feel valued and included in all aspects of school life.
  • Monitor progress: Track and report on the progress of the children you support, celebrating their achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
