Shift pattern - Monday – Friday – 6.45am – 8.45am and 3pm – 6.00pm
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, professional, and practical Caretaker. The successful candidate will support our school in providing a safe, effective, and efficient learning environment.
Responsibilities cover general caretaking / site manager duties including opening and closing the premises, liaising with contractors, basic maintenance and repairs, waste management, emergency call outs and health and safety checks. Duties will also include ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and security is maintained to support and safeguard the welfare of all staff, children and visitors using the school premises.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to deal with a variety of situations. There will also be a requirement to undertake training appropriate to the post.
Previous experience of caretaking or security, minor maintenance work and working on a school site is desirable however, this is not essential as full training will be given. Please note annual leave must be taken during school holidays however, holiday may be taken during term time by mutual agreement. There is some flexibility for the right candidate regarding the work pattern advertised.
