We are seeking an inspirational and driven Assistant Headteacher to lead on Personal Development & Wellbeing, playing a crucial role in shaping our students’ character, aspirations, and future success.

About the Role

As Assistant Headteacher for Personal Development & Wellbeing, you will:

·        ✔ Lead and develop a whole-school strategy for personal development, ensuring students benefit from a rich, inclusive, and meaningful curriculum.

·        ✔ Oversee and enhance our extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities, ensuring every student can develop their talents and interests.

·        Promote student voice and leadership, ensuring the Student Council plays an active role in school improvement.

·        ✔ Develop and implement strategies to support wellbeing, mental health, and safeguarding across the school community.

·        ✔ Lead the careers and work experience provision, ensuring students are well-prepared for their next steps.

·        ✔ Inspire and support staff, ensuring high standards of pastoral care, personal development education, and behaviour.
