Springfield is a popular and high performing 11-16
school in which ‘leaders are determined to provide a high-quality education for
all pupils, regardless of their ability or circumstances’. Ofsted judged the
school to be ‘Good’ in October 2019.
An enthusiastic and resourceful person is required
to plan, prepare and deliver lessons to vulnerable and underachieving pupils,
support the SENCO in meeting individual learning needs and provide support to
pupils to develop their skills and behaviour to achieve success. The role will
also require the candidate to support the school’s ‘3-5pm’ flexible support
provision.
For an informal discussion regarding the post, please telephone Mr Ridley (Alternative Provision and Inclusion Curriculum Lead) at the school.
Springfield School and The De Curci Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level, and any other background checks, including overseas checks, will be required prior to any offer of employment.
Completed application forms will be passed to the
recruitment panel for shortlisting and will be reviewed against the person
specification detailed in the advert. Applications will be assessed upon receipt
and we reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date. An
early application is therefore strongly advised.
