32.5 hours per week, Permanent

LGAT 5 £25,550 pro rata.  Actual Salary: £19,034.75

Term time + Inset days (195 days per year)

We are seeking to recruit a versatile Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in supporting students and staff at our primary Academy. We are looking for someone who believes in inclusion for all students and is able to implement strategies to support children with SEND. Responsibilities will include working 1:1 to support children with additional needs and supporting the class teacher with groups of children or individuals in the classroom. The role will involve working with children to support any social, emotional or behavioural needs.

  • To assist students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum,
  • To work under the direction of the teacher in a class based environment using teaching aides and other methods of support
  • To help support and promote the Academy behaviour policy


Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of a team.
