Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Pay Scale: Grade 6 Point 17

£16.08 per hour – 16 hours per week

Monday and Tuesday 8.00am – 12.30pm

Wednesday 8.00am – 4.00pm

Monkston Primary School is seeking a flexible, enthusiastic, and positive-thinking Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across Years 1–6. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan, organise, and support teaching and learning activities throughout the school.

The role will primarily involve working with whole classes, delivering learning activities and covering lessons under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher. The successful applicant will play a role in supporting pupils' progress, promoting high standards of learning and behaviour, and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.
