The Rowans AP Academy is seeking to appoint a highly effective PE Teaching Assistant to join the PE Department, to start from June 2026.
We are looking for a passionate and energetic PE Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality physical education across the school. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic about sport and working with young people in a dynamic school environment.
This is a part time, permanent role, Term Time Only +1 week, paid on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (FTE £25,185 - £28,142 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £19,235 - £21,494 per annum), with an SEN allowance of £1,539.
The working pattern will consist of 33 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30-15:30, and Wednesday 8:30-16:00, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day.
