About this Role

The Rowans AP Academy is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, to start from May 2025.

This is a full time (33 hours per week), fixed term role, Term Time Only +1 week. You will be paid pro rata to the Apprentice National Minimum Wage. The salary is reviewed annually in April in line with the nationally agreed salaries. You will also receive an SEN Allowance of £1,491, which will be paid in increments across a 12-month period on top of your annual salary.

The working week will consist of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:20-15:20, Wednesday 8:20-15:50, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day, as well as allocated study time outside of work for the completion of apprenticeship coursework.

The successful candidate will undertake on the job training alongside studying for a Level 3 qualification in Learning Support.
