Welcome and thank you for taking an interest in our vacancy at Ullesthorpe Church of England Primary School, part of Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust.
Ullesthorpe is a small village school of four classes. We are a small, friendly and inclusive school offering a high commitment to our children,excellent teaching and a broad and varied curriculum with a strong Christian ethos. Ullesthorpe is a thriving village and we are proud of our place in the community and the links we have with St. Peter's Church and other local organisations. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational class KS2 Class Teacher to join a supportive, professional and friendly staff team.

We are very much part of the community of Ullesthorpe and develop good links with the village by regular visits to St Peter's church as well as by participating and contributing to local events. Being part of a multi-academy trust ensures we can offer not only a broad, varied and rich curriculum but also a wide range of many valuable learning experiences too.
Our last Ofsted, in February 2026, identified the school as Good.
We pride ourselves on being a school with a very strong family feel, where staff and children know each other extremely well, treat each other with respect and most of all, feel included, valued and safe.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, KS2 Teacher / 0.5 or 0.6 tbc / permanent contract/ M1 - M6 dependent on experience.
The successful applicant will ideally be:
Experienced in a similar role
Highly organised and able to set clear priorities in managing their workload
Able to communicate clearly and positively with staff, parents and pupils, both in person and in written communications
Able to work calmly under pressure
Able to show a 'can-do' attitude and seek solutions to problems
Able to work flexibly and creatively
Happy, co-operative and able to work on own initiative
A strong team player
A person who demonstrates excellent initiative
